Washington D.C. indie punk rock outfit Gist buries us underneath a veneer of silky smooth beats that are disco-punk certified and thick guitar fuzz. Think Mission of Burma meets Fugazi with emotions never fully held in check. Nayan Bhula is the guitarist and vocalist who also plays a little keyboard. Nayan is a South African-born Indian and joins forces with two others to forge a significant indie rock overhaul.
